Sesil Gilber (1963) je francuska autorka i književni kritičar. Diplomirala je na Sciences-Po Paris. Autorka je nekoliko eseja: Sen Simon ili mastilo subverzije (Saint-Simon ou l’encre de la subversion), 1994 ; Za Gi Deborija (Pour Guy Débord), 1996 ;  Najslobodniji pisac (L'Ecrivain le plus libre), 2004 ; Warhol Spirit, 2008 ; godine 2010. objavljuje Animaux & Cie, Narkotički spisi, droge i literatura od Homera do Vill Self-a (Ecrits Stupéfiants, drogues & littérature de Homère à Will Self), 2019 ; Slobodan točak (Roue libre), 2020.

Objedinila je svoje kritičke tekstove u Bez prepreka i bez zastoja I i II (Sans entraves et sans temps morts I et II) (2009,2015). Objavila je romane: Narodni muzej (Le musée National) (2000) ; Reanimacija (Réanimation) (2012); Republikanci  (Républicains ) (2017).  Pisan suverenim, rafiniranim stilom, roman Republikanci pruža nam ciničan, nesentimentalan, hladno realističan uvid u visoko društvo Pariza, ali i sliku savremene Francuske, države razdirane brojnim društvenim problemima.

Piše kolumne za France Culture, Canal Plus, Monde des Livres, Magazine Littéraire. 2008. godine je dobila nagradu Médicis za Warhol Spirit. Knjiga Warhol Spirit istovremeno je i esej i biografija te na određen način ulazi u Warholov paradoksni kod; ono pruža novo čitanje slavnog umjetnika, fotografa, pisca i modela Andyja Warhola. Knjiga sadrži dvadeset poglavlja u formi fragmenata i liste citata, što je rezultat velikog uticaja estetike kataloga i Warholovog širokog opusa. Ona kreira sliku Andyja Warhola kao oportunista, cinika, praznovjernika, globaliste i – genija.

Cecile Guilbert (1963) is a French author and literary critic. She graduated from Sciences-Po Paris. She has combined her critical texts in Sans entraves et sans temps morts I et II (2009,2015). She has published novels: Le musée National (2000); Reanimation (2012); Republicans (2017). Written in a sovereign, refined style, the novel Republicans gives us a cynical, unsentimental, coldly realistic insight into the high society of Paris, but also a picture of modern France, a state torn by numerous social problems.

She writes columns for France Culture, Canal Plus, Monde des Livres, Magazine Littéraire. In 2008, she received the Médicis Award for Warhol Spirit. The book Warhol Spirit is both an essay and a biography and in a way enters Warhol’s paradoxical code; it provides a new reading by famed artist, photographer, writer and model Andy Warhol. The book contains twenty chapters in the form of fragments and a list of quotations, which is the result of the great influence of the aesthetics of the catalog and Warhol's extensive opus. She creates the image of Andy Warhol as an opportunist, cynic, superstitious, globalist and - genius.
