Miloš Vukanović je istoričar čiji rad je fokusiran ka izučavanju političkih sistema XX vijeka i prezentaciji osjetljivih i disonantnih tema istorije, prije svega ratnih zločina. Profilisao se i kao edukator sa fokusom na istorijsku edukaciju i muzeologiju, preciznije prezentaciju i nastavu istorije u postkonfliktnim društvima.

Autor je istorijskih edicija – Petrovići, vladari i ratnici i Crnogorski srednji vijek. Koautor, urednik ili saradnik je na publikacijama Učenje istorije koja još to nije – prilog nastavi 90 ih; Kako vidimo 90e?; Što skrivaju i otkrivaju crnogorski udžbenici o savremenoj istoriji Crne Gore?; Antifašizam u Crnoj Gori – između političkog trenda i obrazovne politike; Istorija koja povezuje – nekada davno živjeli smo zajedno; U okviru edicije o suočavanju s prošlošću u Crnoj Gori radio je na dokumentovanju slučajeve ratnih zločina Deportacija, Bukovica i Kaluđerski laz.

Kao kustos-istraživač bio je i dio regionalnog tima za UNESCO projekat “Obnavljanje paviljona bivše Jugoslavije” u Nacionalnom muzeju Aušvic-Birkenau. Autor je i urednik radionica za nastavu istorije koji se tiču osjetljivih tema, inkluzivne nastave, ekstremizma, nasilja i diskriminacije. Kao priznanje za tu uspješnu saradnju proglašen je i ambasadorom EUROCLIO-a. Jedan je od osnivača Udruženja profesora istorije Crne Gore (HIPMONT).

Miloš Vukanović is a historian whose work is focused on studying the political systems of the 20th century and presenting sensitive and dissonant topics of history, primarily war crimes. He also profiled himself as an educator with a focus on historical education and museology, more precisely the presentation and teaching of history in post-conflict societies.

He is the author of historical editions - Petrović, rulers and warriors and the Montenegrin Middle Ages. He is a co-author, editor or contributor to the publications Learning History, which is not yet - a contribution to the teaching of the 90s; How do we see the 90s ?; What do Montenegrin textbooks on contemporary history of Montenegro hide and reveal ?; Antifascism in Montenegro - between the political trend and educational policy; A connecting story - we used to live together a long time ago; As part of the edition on dealing with the past in Montenegro, he worked on documenting the war crimes cases Deportation, Bukovica and Kaludjerski laz.

As a curator-researcher, he was also part of the regional team for the UNESCO project "Renovation of the Pavilion of the Former Yugoslavia" at the Auschwitz-Birkenau National Museum. He is the author and editor of workshops for teaching history on sensitive topics, inclusive education, extremism, violence and discrimination. In recognition of this successful cooperation, he was also named Ambassador of EUROCLIO. He is one of the founders of the Association of Professors of History of Montenegro (HIPMONT).
